Purpose: to inform the public of the current state of unsheltered populations in Mesa County, as well as the corresponding service network, toward identifying how the community can help.

Panel discussion topics include:

  • Impact of GJ Ordinance 5326 - Regarding the Prohibition of Enforcement of Camping on Public Property When No Overnight Shelter is Available

  • Numbers & locations for the unhoused population

  • Basic unhoused services and strategies to mitigate shelter loss in the era of cuts

  • Housing issues in Mesa County

All community organizations working to provide shelter, sustenance, and economic stability to those unhoused or struggling to keep shelter are invited to join the conversation.
