May Day Solidarity Fair
Time: Friday, May 1 @ 4:30 – 6:30pm MDT
Location: Lowell School Lawn, 310 N 7th St
Better Together - Solidarity Fair
Celebrate International Worker's Day
Stop by and connect with local unions working for fair wages, safe workplaces, and justice for all.
-May Day is about solidarity for all working people. Workers are taking action and standing up to the corporate billionaires who threaten our rights and freedoms.
-We won’t be distracted by efforts to divide us. Working people know the real threats we face to our jobs, our paychecks and our freedoms come from greedy and abusive bosses—not our fellow workers.
-America wasn’t built by greedy billionaires and corporations. Hardworking people—real workers—all across the country have always been the ones who keep the economy running. And working people are speaking out and fighting back.
-No matter where we were born, where we live or what kind of work we do, we all deserve to have fair treatment and dignity on the job and to go home safely to our families at the end of the day.
-America’s labor unions have been leading in our courts, on Capitol Hill and in our streets, with thousands of trained union peacekeepers to fight back—and our movement will be there on May Day. It’s time for unions and working people to flex our full power.
